The AAW is a free cultural event held in and around downtown Amherst, MA. Each first Thursday of every month, from 5-8PM, participating venues host gallery openings, concerts, lectures, and other creative events.

Our Committee

The Amherst Art Walk Committee (AWC) is comprised of representatives from various Art Walk venues. Our main objective at meetings is to think of new, different, and exciting ways to engage the art community in the Amherst area. We plan performances and other events during Art Walk and outside of Art Walk. Just this past April we planned and hosted a very well-attended Marketing for Artists forum!

Our mission is:

Members of the AWC who attend meetings are able to have their voices heard on changes and improvements made to the Art Walk as a whole; are able to suggest and plan new events; and get to make lasting networking connections with other participating businesses and organizations.
